<description>Rémy was born and raised in Mexico City. He moved to New York City in 1990 to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at NYU. Upon graduating in 1994, he was honored with the Creative Excellence Award for his senior graduation show, where he presented his first installation "City Walk/Nature Walk," a freestanding eye-shaped photo sculpture comprised of 52 boxes spiraling out from the center. Since then, Rémy has worked in commercial photography. He has worked mainly as a technician and in retouching, but also has experience in art direction, having overseen the publishing of a book for Daab Publishing as well as creating layouts for fashion stories. Rémy has exhibited in 42 shows, including 9 solo exhibitions. He has shown in New York, Mexico City, Seattle, Beijing, and San Francisco. For the past 4 years, Rémy has been developing a multimedia installation entitled "A Group Show Of Selves." It is a platform that permits him to explore different mediums and forms of expression within a single space. He has shown several versions of this installation, including in New York, Beijing, Newark and, most recently, at the Governor's Island Art Fair. Rémy currently lives in New York City's Lower East Side and teaches photography at the New York Film Academy.

<description>Katie Decker was born and raised in New Jersey. She credits her sarcasm and quick wit, which is apparent in her artwork and real life, to her upbringing in the Garden State.

After graduating from high school, Katie headed west to pursue a BFA from the Laguna College of Art and Design, where she graduated in 2003. Her love for typography and design shows through in her mixed media artwork.

Katie has been fortunate enough to show her mixed media work both in NYC and San Francisco. Most recently, she can be found exploring the world, making jewelry and working on her next show.

She currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.

<description>Francis Simeni is a painter living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Nigeria, the son of a diplomat, Francis split his childhood between Poland and Nigeria before settling in New York City in 1982. It is from this perspective that he creates compositions with intense personal narratives. From the portrait of a single child, to the story of the African Diaspora, Francis explores personal themes of the human condition. His graphic compositions are infused with emotion from an earthy warm palette and grainy wood surface. Using this natural surface as part of composition grounds each piece as it creates a broader narrative. His narrative is one of intent and emotion. Focusing this emotion with a limited color palette, he explores personal themes and how each person’s story relates to the broader human experience. From one’s own self image to the greater community and from the community back to the individual.

His work has been shown at various galleries throughout the country, including solo shows at Sensei gallery in Manhattan and the Red Horse Cafe in Brooklyn, a group show at Project 1 Gallery in San- Francisco and is a part of an ongoing show at the OneWay Gallery in Rhode Island. He has also taken part in benefit auctions including the Hammonds House Museum Charity Auction in Atlanta, GA and the Rush Arts Charity Auction in Chelsea, New York City. He was also a semifinalist in the Sprout juried artist competition in New York City, and a part of the ongoing Art Erotica series at Madame X, New York City. Most recently, he was honored to take part in Dance Africa 2010, as an artist in the companion show “African Rhythms / American Voices” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. That same year, he was part of a group show at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA)

As soon as Francis was old enough to hold a pencil, he started drawing. His interest in comic books led him to study illustration and toy design at FIT, where he received an Associates Degree. Since college, he has designed graphics for apparel and created illustrations for print publications. His clients range from Ecko Unltd. to The New York Times.

His background in illustration and design molds with his expressive hand to produce graphic yet emotive paintings that are informed by his experience as an unsettled settler, at home in a foreign land. With a forward gaze, he studies the past.

<description>Mari Keeler, is a classically trained artist who paints her surroundings and her imaginings. She wears her heart on her sleeve and has art on the brain. Mari never leaves home without a camera (or three) and never misses an opportunity to capture a moment.

Before moving to Princeton, New Jersey from Caracas, Mari learned the basics of painting from her godmother, Venezuelan artist Maria Cristina Romero.

Descended from a long line of artists and art aficionados, it's no wonder that Mari had an early appreciation of art, but she's also the granddaughter of one of the world's first female pilots, Mary Calcaño which could explain her hunger for world travel and adventure.

Mari's most recent adventures include photographing the streets in Stockholm, re-discovering the masters in Berlin, horseback riding in Costa Rica and hiking the Incan trail to Machu Picchu.

When she's not at her easel or experimenting with new photographic techniques, Mari can be found sipping a glass of red wine, discovering a new solar system or riding her bike, Frenchie.

She is currently living and working in New York’s East Village.
